It is simply hateful, and does nothing to advance your views on the mateer at hand; in fact, it likely undermines any points you are trying to make. I know you are not alone in tossing insults, and the effect is the same when others do it, too. Multiple wrongs don't make right, though, just a pile of wrongs, and no one is persuaded about the issue, although they may come away convinced that the other guy is a jerk. Who gains anything from this?
