Why do they avoid it? because a nurse can be married to steelworker in Akron, Ohio and easily have a family income of $60,000 to $100,000 per year If they say the rich make over $50,000 then they lose their vote. If they say the rich make over $250,000 we lose the revenue. The liberals want to punish success and enrich the government. They have to fool the average Steelworker/nurse household into thinking they are "poor" then, tax them because they are "rich". It's a delicate balancing act. When they talk about the "rich" they talk about Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, but they end up taxing US!! and I say "us" because we are part of the "evil-rich-yacht-owners" they're persecuting! They have taught the "disenfranchised" to hate us -- to hate us because we are evil and because we are "rich" enough to own a boat!!!!!! The Disenfranchised look at "us", the successful people, as prey. and they have plenty of people with liberal-guilt standing around waiting to help them (but not with any of their precious money, no!! They want to tax "us", the successful people!).
