Report: outside forum guidelines

Yesterday I had my Grand Daughter on board for first time in water. Over the winter we would play in Moonbeam in the garage. Her parents brought her to the lake. We said Moonbeam was there and she looked at me not fully understanding. At 2 1/2 years old things take a bit of time to sink in. When she saw Moonbeam tied up at her slip she just squealed with delight and she yelled moobbeam. (how she says it) I plopped her in the cockpit and she just rocked with the waves like she was born there. (thanks to Mom and Dad teaching her to ski and stuff.) We had a great time on the water and since we played in the garage over the winter she was used to opening the ports and getting stuff out of the storage bins and just plain climbing all over the little craft. Steering with the tiller we must have looked like drunken sailors but hey first time holding a course she did good heh heh. A proud and very happy moment for Grandpa. She just had a blast. Then we went fishing and then out to dinner. I never knew how much fun this Grandpa stuff could be. On a side note.... I had duct taped the suspected leaky hatch seam. We had over two inches of rain the night before and no leakage. Now Im sure were the water is coming in and it will be an easy fix. Eric Hughes WWP 15 Moonbeam # 2475 Warmandfuzzyville Pa
