Report: outside forum guidelines

So I took my new to me P-15 out today for my first solo sail. It was great!!! Right up until the time when I tried to recover her. Wouldn't you know it, I forgot to put the centerboard up. It hit the trailer, fell off the post, and went down into the trunk. I finally managed to get it out which is OK I guess since it has lots of rust and I was going to get it sandblasted next winter anyway. I guess I will do it sooner than I thought. After sandblasting, what do you guys/gals recommend for protection. I was thinking either galvanized (I don't know anyone in the area who does that...what do I look under in the yellow pages?), powdercoat, or something else?
