Report: outside forum guidelines

Next Wednesday is the opening day of the Festival of Sail. From noon until about 2PM the tall ships should be sailing under the Golden Gate into the Bay. They are going to tie up along the SF waterfront and will be available through the 27th for viewing. However, since the Cruiser Challenge is on the weekend, we will need to appreciate these ships before then.

It occured to me that the Wednesday sailors might want to forego the stop at Quinns and come all the way out on to the Bay for what should be some great photo opportunities.

I'd join you, except that I've already paid $100 to be on the WWII Liberty Ship Jeremiah O'Brien which is going to steam out the Gate at 10AM to meet the arriving fleet, returning with the procession. Tickets were still available for that too as of yesterday, if there is any interest.
