The splint like fix worked perfect. In fact I am going to make an emergency kit for both Moonbeam And Gypsy Breeze in case a foil would break while on a trip away from home waters. Two 4 inch long hunks of 1/8 thick by 3/4inch wide aluminum and 4 hose clamps. Moonbeam and I had a great day sailing on our local lake. Two fishing boats the only others out.
