I never rigged my gunter because it needed work..but you are welcome to it if you ever get up to the bay area (I live in Benicia). Unless you are are trying to make the boat "original", I wouldn't bother. The boats with Sunfish rigs do remarkably well. The Lido rig works fine...as would any sloop rig. I am using an old full size Potter main, and my boat speed is fine...though I am going to look for a set of used Lido race sails to fill up the mast. My boat is "unusual", but it works. Some previous owner chopped the cabin top off...and I actually like it. I reinforced it and don't need a compression post, which makes the berth much more comfortable.
