In Response To: Oars on a WWP15 & Odyssey Sails (Steve Clancy)

mine are 3' forward of stern. I would put them as far forward in cockpit as possible to comfortrably row without your back hitting the cabin (or the steering wheel in my case!). I put also put racks on the gunwales so that I can have longer oars (8.5'). I use them alot... they are fun, and a great safety feature.
