Pier 54/China Basin's good for me

Looks like the sailing distance from China Basin to Clipper Cove is only a little over half the distance than from Alameda, and for me a lot less driving and no bridge tolls. And I will see parts of the Bay I don't usually visit. Assuming there is sufficient parking, what's not to like?
