"Sweet Thing II" is the first sailboat I have ever owned with external fuel lines. Got to thinking about how you get the gas out of the line when it has quick connects at both ends. If you disconnect the gas tank end and run the motor till it stops I wouldn't think the motor would be able to clear the "sealed" line? Once you disconnect either end of the hose I assume the line is sealed, no free flow of air? Have contemplated buying a pair of tank and motor side quick connects to plug into each end of the hose so the line and primer bulb could be freely drained.

Am I over thinking this? Wouldn't be the first time?
