(pic) (Jose P15 #2045 "Witty") . . . briefly, last night, in the Grand Street lot. If I understood it right, the mast was stuck in the sandy bottom in the area marked by the "X" on the chart below. The incident occurred on or near the bar that obstructs the entrance to Clipper Cove. Though these shallows are of little concern to a P-15 Skipper, he should still give them consideration when plotting a course in the area. I discussed the presence of the bar with Paul during our conversation at lunch. I hope to include Paul and Steve's thoughts on the accident in an article in the November Potter Yachter Newsletter.
