We used to do more radio checks etc. on our sails. On a trip to Catalina, one boat dismasted. He never called for help, we monitored 68, the agreed upon channel, as well as 16, for a call. He showed up 4 hrs late. All was well, but we worried for a long time. Steve could have used additional assistance. - Ez
