(pic) (Harry Gordon, WWP14 #234, Manatee, Mountain View, CA) I spoke to Steve today, and other than alot of cuts and bruises, they are both o.k..thankfully. They towed Paul's boat over to the small boat lift at Clipper Cove after driving his trailer there. Steve sailed back to Alameda. Bailing the boat wasn't any fun.. Steve's attitude is just awesome. He's writing down what he remembers (and learned) ...but I'm going to put a diaper in my safety kit to stuff in the centerboard case...because in a flooded boat the top is below the waterline. Ironically, the place where the drama unfolded was only several hundred feet from Coast Guard Headquarters Yerba Buena...just on the other side of the point where they were stuck!
