When I sent my P15 sail up they also told me that the insignia had to be stitched on before they would wash it. I don't remember the cost but the sail was filthy and looked old so I knew I wanted it cleaned a crispened (LeMauney Process). I paid it and I was happy with the results for what I paid, whatever that was. The "huffy" lady might not have been actually trying to be rude. People from up North, like PA and OH and such, often sound like they're rude, but really its just the way people talk up there. Of course if you're from Indiana you'd be a better judge than someone from the South. I've sent 2 sets of sails and gotten modification quotes from them and timing and attention to me, the customer was good each time, especially when I had questions. Judge for yourself and good luck.
