Mike, you can check with Dick H. or Don P.....There are strict rules re: Turtles. Indeed, I have turtled more than a few times in my old Sabot in my youth (doesn't count...too small) also in my old 13 ft lateen rig Scow...ditto...too easy, doesn't count...two times in a Hobie 14 (while a spectacular "Pitch Pole" X2 down in the Grenadines...didn't count...it was un-witnessed)....ALL official Turtles must be witnessed! That way one is sure to receive one's fair share of belly laughs and good natured ridicule! Ask Dick & Don....Also in Advanced Geezerdom one's GOOD friends will continue to remind one of his "Glory Days!!"
