(pic) (Harry Gordon, WWP14 #234, Manatee, Mountain View, CA) we all make mistakes. When I first got my P-165 I went sailing 5 miles out into the Atlantic to snorkel on a reef. We anchored just off the reef and jumped in the ocean. After an hour of snorkeling we went to get back on board. I mangaged to struggle up the boarding ladder, but no way was I going to get my wife on board. Luckly for me I had my two sons with me, and with me pulling and them pushing, we got her on board. My next purchase was a hook on 5 step ladder. In Key west this year we used the ladder many times to board and deboard my Hunter. Even with the open transom on the Hunter,my wife still cannot board the boat. With the hook on ladder, there is no problem at all.
