New to this Forum,

Our 12 year old keel cable snapped in two yesterday. I'm hoping to clamp it the cable somehow; get the boat on the trailer and pull her out of the water.

Any advice from more experienced sailers will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, John Stacey "Peregrine" WWP 19

You can replace it on the water as well. -- Eric, P-19, #1221 Austin, TX -- 11/2/08 4:58a.m.
Why not 7X7 ss cable which is more flexible than 1X19? -- Westcoaster, HMS 18, Jaunty -- 11/2/08 6:06a.m.
You're right. That or 7x19 would work better. both are more flexible than 1x19 -- Eric, P-19, #1221 Austin, TX -- 11/2/08 6:27a.m.
