Turtles and dismasting

In Response To: Turtle Roll Call (Dick Herman, Muddy Duck)

Both "Petit Liege" and "Follow Me" have turtled, but not with me or Dory in them. Dory let a friend sail his boat and he promptly turned her turtle and ground the mast into the mud, bending it. I forgot the story for mine.

Who out there wears the big D, instead?

I was going through Dory's camera and I found pictures of one of my most memorable trips. Dory dismasted on dry land last year in Monterey, about a week after Cruiser Challenge. Not to waste a perfectly good day, we motored around after we got the mess cleaned up. Please pay no attention to the large derriere in the boat, I've lost lots of that since then.
