Funny how we change but that is what makes life worthwhile. There a couple Seawards on Tahoe and even though I haven't sailed on one I have seen one in action on it's way to Emerald Bay. Sailed well and seemed like a very seaworthy boat. I did, when I was looking at boats, do a lot of research into the Seaward line and they are well build and there are lot around which says somthing for them. For me I was moving down the ladder, after a Colombia 28 then my 38 flush deck custom cutter I wanted just a boat I could sleep on, eat on, be comfortable on in most conditions and could be handled by one person who was getting older and lazy. Since I discovered that when below decks even on the 38 most of my time I was sitting or lying down I didn't need room to stand up and walk around I could do that above decks. I also wanted to get away from working on a damned inboard engine. However you should look to what your needs are and what you can afford. Remember the Seaward is bigger, heavier, with more stuff on it and needs a V8 to tow it. I do like the Seaward from a stuctural standpoint however.
