If it's nice out like one of "THOSE" mornings I use my old backpacking stove. Called a Bluesomthing now called the Jetboil (I think.) in the cockpit just for heating water for coffe or to pour into a food bag. It's small and once I'm done with it the propane/butane canister pops off and seals itself. It also is my backup when the tank on the stock stove goes out. I don't like too many cans or canisters that can go boom or leak on my boat.
