Found this Lifeboat Tea in the local grocery last week. You have got to love the British, they brought us the West Wight Potter, now Lifeboat Tea. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution's (RNLI) motto is "Out With A Shout". They were involved in 8,000 rescues in 2007 around the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
A prime day for hypothermia here in South Puget Sound; 58 degrees, wind about 8-10 mph with about a 1 to 2 foot chop on the water. The Chum salmon are migrating through Totten Inlet to one of their main spawning creeks this week. This has brought out the Squaxin Tribal fishermen, most of them in open outboard boats. They have done this annual fishery for years though and seem to be pretty adapt and prepared for these winter weather conditions.
