Les, Keep in mind that the inflatable only satisfies the Type II Coast Guard requirments if you are wearing it. I was inspected last summer and proudly produced my inflatable from the cabin, which did me no good - either from a lifesaving perspective or a legal perspective! Fortunately I did have some cheap PFDs stored deep under the V-berth that got me off the hook. David
