Eric,

I have a great method to boil water quickly. I have a JetBoil system--basically a large insulated cut with a tiny attached stove. This system is popular with climbers and backpackers. The nice thing is that its heating system is very efficient. I think it boils water in about a minute.

I made a hatchboard box that holds the JetBoil (see below) and can heat up a meal while under way or on the beach. If you're looking for a way to heat liquids quickly, check out a JetBoil system for your new kewl galley.
