I painted her Maritus blue for the hull and Oyster white for th deck. 2 coats of primer, and 2 coats of paint. Lots and lots of sanding. The Perfection polyurethane paint was great to work with. But, it shows every litle imperfection, but standing 6 feet back it looks great. I am a novice, first thing I ever painted. A friend who had a spray gun and compressor set me up and off to town I went. There are a copuple of runs here and there but for a rookie it turned out OK. I used West Marine bottom paint. I followed the old bottom paint line. I though if I scratch up the edge or keel it would be easy to recoat. I hope the interlux will stand up to teh Arizona sun. THe UV rays are wicked. Once she is finished, I may looko for a cover to try to keep the dust off. (Arizona is really dusty).
