Pad eye location

Michael, I just walked over to HMS #15 and measured the pad eyes. They are 40 1/8 inches apart center to center (20 1/16 inches from the center line) and are centered fore and aft on the stern deck. There is a possibly useful photo of what I assume is your boat on page 16 of the NOV/DEC 2005 issue of the Small Craft Advisor.

It looks like your boat, like mine, has a roller reefing boom. Have you used it to reef and if so how did you like it?

Also, my boat doesn't have the cockpit side rails or the stern rail that your boat has. How do you like the stern rail? I'd like to have a little more security in the cockpit but it seems to me that the side rails would get in the way sometimes. Anyone else with an opinion?

Old #2 looks like she's in great shape.
