I am almost finished with the standing and running rigging. I got the keel wich system working, I am almost ready for water!

It has the roller reefing boom. The boom has some severe pitting in a few areas, it will probably need replacment in the future. I have not yet had old #2 in the water yet. So, I can't comment on its sailing attributes. Yet.

The stern cockpit rails were nicely installed by the previous owner. My wife likes them as she has the sense of security that she won't fall over the transom. SO of course, I kept it.

THe main sheet clears the edge when the boom is all the way out, so it doesn't look like a problem.

Thanks for the measurments, it worked out perfect.

Is it possible for you to send me some interior pictures of your HMS#15. I am going to start on the interior next. It was in poor shape from its age (kinda like me). I would like to see how other HMS owners have fixed up their interor to give me some ideas.

Thanks for your suppoprt! I will post pic's ewhen I get it in the water.
