Hey Westy I have been pulling for you. I thought it was an awful ambitious project when you started but came to appreciate your skills and abilities. I particularly enjoyed your contemplation at one point of backing the whole thing over the cliff into a landfill. Very well written, you are a true wordsmith and I suspect and avid reader? There does come a time however! In my case I think the time has passed to acheive a personal goal of building a boat from the keel up. Unless of course it comes in a 24" kit. Enjoy your new boat and value the time only you can spend with a daughter. That is truely a once in a lifetime opportunity.
