O'day 19 or 192?

In Response To: Well, fer cryin' in the beer. It says 1986 O'day 19 but not.... (Westcoaster - O'day 192)

I wouldn't lose any sleep over the difference, it is pretty subtle. The 19 is a more performance oriented boat with a little more sail area and a bit less weight. More cockpit, less cabin. Both boats were designed at C. Raymond Hunt and Associates. The 19 was built from 1979 to 1986. The 192 was introduced in 1986 and built through 1989. Spare parts are still available from D&R Marine in Assonet, MA (http://www.drmarine.com)

I'm very fond of my 192 and I think you will find your 19 to be a capable boat and fun to sail too.
