I would not bring the boat to them. If they are serious they will drive to you. If they are not willing to drive to you they are not very serious.
No real need to take them out sailing on a Potter.
If I were in the market for a boat I was spending 20K on with significant systems I would insist on a sea trial, and that would only be conducted once a dry survey had taken place and we entered into a purchase and sail agreement and contingent upon satisfactory sea trial. IE: purpose of a sea trial is to ensure boat and systems are up to the task, not to see if the buyer likes how the boat sails.
there are no shortages of boat reviews out there for someone to do due diligence in determining if the Potter is to their liking.
If they are serious about buying a Potter, the lack of a test sail will not put them off.
