Jose, this was a great decision for your situation. While each boat has its own strengths and weaknesses, the family is going to love the added space.
If Luna's mast has baby stays (a third set attaching about half way up the mast and to the cabin top), be sure to use them when you raise and lower the mast, to keep it from straying from the balance centerline during the process. I often also raise the mast solo without the pulleys, but if I can waylay someone to help I ask them to stand on the bow and pull on the furler to assist in the process, especially in making the transition from my supporting the mast while standing on the cockpit benches to climbing up on the cabin top (or vice versa).
The roller furler genoa is a great decision. That's the set up I have on Dagmar.
You're going to have a wonderful time in Luna.
