Sounds like a great first launching. All of my maiden voyages have been fraught with "should've/wouldn've dones", but that is the what the learning curve is all about.
I was lucky enough to spend several years cruising a friends Coranado 23 both on the Columbia and up in the San Juan and Gulf Islands. After raising the mast on that beast a bunch of times, my Potters were just so easy in comparison! You'll get the system down in no time. My goal is to leave as many of the lines and such in place, being careful of the order in which I secure them so that they re-deploy in an orderly and non-tangling manner. I am truly surprised at how quickly halyards, topping lifts, shrouds, etc. become hopelessly tangled together in knots that I would have trouble replicating purposefully.
Post some pictures when you get some time. I'd love to see some pics of the interior of the boat.
