Thanks Carl,
I do have baby stays and I left them connected. One question, these are my frist sails and they are so beautifully crispy that I felt guilty after rolling the main to the boom to store it. Did you remove your sails from the boom when new? When I have it rolled and I want to set the boat up, I have to un-roll to slide the slugs in the mast...so I end up streching the sail and I'm not sure I am saving that much time in that case. I guess the only advantage would be to have the reefing lines connected because: the mainsheet stays in the transom, the boom vang can stay with the boom, the topping lift has to be tied (easy), the downhaul can stay with the boom as well. What do you guys do with the sail when you pull out? You roll it arround the boom?
I allways enjoy your pics Carl! Thanks, Jose
