Steve Kaba and his wonderful super fun to be around Wife Debbie and I sailed out of the Bohemia and Elk rivers ino the bay Saturday. It was to be a light wind day and I was a tad worried it would be a bob & bake day on the water. But it blew up pretty good. We had a blast and a wonderful day sailing. We stopped at Elk Neck State park for lunch. We had to beach our boats. This was the first time I beached Gypsy Breeze. All went well. And I think the first Time Steve beached Merlot. Steve and Deb had no problem sailing Merlot through the brisk winds and wave action caused by wind and large boats with loud motors. Gypsy handled very well also but I did have a HANG ON moment coming back with the wind behind me. But Gypsy handled it with ease and I had nothing to worry about. Steve and Deb had a bit of a wait at the launch ramp once we got back. There was a big line of people going in and out. We all then had a nice dinner near the marina. Thanks again Steve for buying. What a great day!!!!!! Then I stayed overnight on Gypsy Breeze sleeping like a baby. This morning the birds woke me up before I was ready. So I borrowed Jerry Rockers water hose and gave Gypsy a good wash. I shoud have just sprayed the birds and gone back to sleep heh heh. The attached picture is Deb and Steve with Merlot at the lunch beach. Eric Hughes WWP 15 Moonbeam # 2475 and Gypsy Breeze the Sanibel # 209 mechanicsburg Pa
