In the interest of accuracy

Bill, in the interest of accuracy, I may try to send an email to every email address on the map (another big project) and then remove the ones where the email bounces. I may also in that email ask if it is OK to keep their email address on the map. I will also "consider" removing email addresses, say after 90 days, if I don't hear from people in the affirmative, other than those posted there by the owners themselves (I have a way of being able to tell if that was the case). If I do that, then the only email addresses there will be of those who put them there or asked me to do so. But I haven't come to that decision yet. The reason we abandoned the previous map in which people could post themselves was that the feature that allowed that was unreliable and was impacted by a viewer's browser settings, etc. I switched it to Google Maps because they are a much bigger player, likely to be around a while and they support an batch input process.

A new idea has come to mind. If you click on my marker, you'll see I have branded the marker with the Club Burgee, name, and web address of the Rocky Mountain Potter Owners Association. While that doesn't appear when you zoom, I may do something along those lines too (a slighlt different icon). This could be done for any Potter owners' fleet members who wish to be distinguished on the map and find each other more easily. Again, Bill, thanks for your input. I know it is motivated by doing what's best for everyone.
