The cold melted ice water in the cooler kept things cool for another day. But it was a lost cause after that. Eventually, we just wrote off on buying ice and just persisted with warm water and cold MREs. May I ask what kind of cooler you have? Was it packed with frozen things, or just drinks and thawed sausages? Next year, we'll probably just stick with a food bin and a water bin, no ice. Unless I'm fortunate enough to win the lotto, then it'll be a Engel cooler and a bigger solar panel The meal options sounds quite good!
