Bill, your registration list is cool and very useful. I like to see as many Potters listed as possible even if the latest info on some boats was from 30 years ago. I appreciate having the list sorted three ways. Sometimes I will be curious as to when a particular boat was built, and I will look up the hull number to find the boat or one close to it to get some idea of the boat's age. Sometimes I will find a familiar boat has moved to a different location.
The location sort is useful for finding other Potters in a given area, but John's map should be even better for that purpose. The map will be especially useful in locations where Potters are less common than in California, where Potters are ubiquitous and there are two large active Potter clubs.
It would all be easier if boats were federally registered like airplanes. I recently did a Web search for the N-registration number on a 1948 airplane I owned in the 60s and found that N3460H, which I bought in California and sold in Florida, has since been beautifully restored and is now in Delaware.
