My wife and I just got back in from 5 days on Lake Jocassee in SC. I go about the cooking different we use a Magma grill and though these are expensive it is one of the best things on my boat. 1st night was hambugers and grilled veg's, 2nd night pork chops and grilled vegs, 3rd night steaks and grilled veg's, last night was grilled hot dogs. All food was frozen before leaving. We used 2 coolers one for the 1st 2 nights and the 2nd for the last 2 nights. In the 1st coolers all drinks cooled or partially frozen and the water was frozen. The second cooler all drinks were frozen (most only partially). When the food and drinks were put in then we added ice cubes. The 2nd cooler was almost frozen solid when we opened in on Wed. (3rd day). We do use the 5 day max coolers. The veg's were bought fresh and stored in a bag under the v berth and all stayed good for 4 days. The WX was in the 90's all week.

Lake Jocasse was beautiful, the waterfalls were flowing nice and the water level was close to full for the 1st time in years.
