In Response To: I recall a story about a yellow potter on Tomales Bay (Charley P-14 729 "Sea Bug")

Stan and De Marsh were diving off the anchored boat in Bodega Bay when a breaker rose up from the flat water and smashed Stan's Potter. Maybe that is the story you recall. That was the only time the Potter Yachters were at Bodega, but they have sailed frequently in Tomales Bay, so there are other Potter stories from that area.

Cyrus Eaton, who changed his name to Cyrus Wind Dancer had a yellow P15 and recounted several misadventures in early issues of the Potter Yachter newsletter. Cyrus was last reported sailing his Potter in Puget Sound.
