I hated whenever that happened. I'd send my crew off the transom ladder to stick the wooden edge down. Then I'd try to tighten that line, and end up nearly yanking the rudder out of the gudgeons if I wasn't holding the rudder with downward pressure. I've asked Santa for a new rudder... hoping!
