Before we ask for a single cent from anyone we need to get council to agree to sell to us.

We need to make selling to us more attractive than any other option for council.

A brief letter via email to our council chief executive Tony Rogers urging him to seek a win win solution with the scouts and scouters of Abnaki district would be highly appreciated right now.

Also cc ing same letter to Bryan Thomas and to Ed Desgrosseilliers our district chair will be most helpfull.

I also would love a copy of any letters cc'd to refent01@yahoo.com

If you could then print out that letter and type up another letter to national urging them to ask council to consider working with us that can't hurt either.

Unfortunately National does not publish any email addresses so it has to go through the mail.

If Council agrees to sell to us we will rapidly set up a 501c3 tax deductible non profit and solicit donations. If anyone wishes to donate atthat time donations will be very much appreciated. However the most important thing you could do for us is help us bring pressure to bear at Council via emails and letters.

Council will be meeting and discussing this November 19th at Council headquarters.

I am going to poropose to my fellow scouters we have a scout rally outside the building since we would not be allowed in. It is right near the jetport with loads of traffic going by. "Honk if you support Saving Camp Gustin" And we invite the press.

And we have a Boy Scout Chorus outside the building singing with feeling some specific Boy Scout songs.

"Be Be Be Prepared, the Motto of the Boy Scouts" "On My Honor, I 'll Do My Best" "Camping We go""We Sing the Song of the Sewer" Well, Maybe not that last one. We will save that for the car ride...
