So the Potter forum has no major problems? A sailing site has problems for all due to a political forum?
I'm not a big one for registering. Too many PIN's, passwords, etc. already. Too much spam, too much organization.
On a broad level, I guess I don't care too much. I know how to sail, I know how to rig my boat, I know how to ignore jerks on the internet. I'll say, I will not register, I don't need another password, I don't need more structure or punishment based on others actions. I'll just lurk once in a while I guess.
I also won't register. I don't believe on punishing a few based on the behavior of others.
If the problem is anonymous posting on the political forum, I have to ask, why is there a political forum on a sailing website? Ban politics, delete political postings. Punish the masses of a successful community based on the bad behavior of a few … not my style.
Maybe we can move to the SCA website? I don’t think they require registering … yet???
I guess in the end, just go sailing. Usually you don’t have to register at the launch ramp, you just go do your thing.
Moving on ... long live freedom! It's been a good sail, fair wind, following sea, but looks like storms and foul weather ahead so I'm changing course.
I saw a guy speeding on the freeway on the way home. I think every car should be stopped, searched, arrest all the drivers, let's find out who was speading at all costs! I saw a jay walker, let's not let anyone cross the street without proper papers. Somone robbed a bank, got away with a stack of $20.00's. Let's arrest anyone with a $20.00 bill in their pocket and bring them to justice.
Sorry advertisers on this site, yes I did buy a thing or two and I'm ashamed to admit, I fell prey to advertising. I'm moving on.
If you want to know how to sail, how to rig a P-15, what it's like to sail SF bay, No. CA, be a Potter Yachter, hang on to the email address, I'm sailing out of the TS harbor ... the man is trying to keep me downn.
