Annie, did you catch the quick view east through Round Island Passage as they left the island to return to Mac City? Sure looked grim to me. I was in the gale of the ~300 mile 1985 Port Huron To Mackinac Race. Over 70 well prepared boats dropped out due to damage or utter crew burnout. We finished in a 30' prototype, but I never wish to see those conditons again. We ended up with a cracked main bulkhead, no electrical system, and water everywhere. Dave
