water everywhere. I do remember the 1985 Port Huron - Mac race weather and results. The news about it was extensive. I hope to never be out in such waves or weather. And, yes, I did view the entire video and see where he turned east. I'm sure it was really something. I found the captain's saying he'd never been in bigger seas stunning! I captained a 46 ft. Morgan outislander for a couple I know and we went from Mackinac Island to St. Ignace in a NW blow with 8-9 ft. waves. That was enough for me. The charter folks got off the boat and never got back on when we docked. I had to hand all their stuff up from the cabin to the dock!!!! They were freaked. That was in 1985. Annie
