I'm trying to figure out a good location for my base radio on my P15. I've seen inside mounts that are nice but when I want my radio available is when the wind is up and then my hatch is closed. I thought about the forward cockpit bulkhead but I can't really see it or reach it there. Probably should have sprung for one with a remote. Yea I do have a handheld too but if it's dicey I want the range of a mast mount antennae. Anybody have an interesting approach to this?
