Harry, never under estimate how confused I can become!

In Response To: Sorry, I was writing "luff" when I meant "leech" (pic) (Harry Gordon, wwp 14 #234, Mtn. View, CA)

But now, Halleljah...I have seen the light!

Thanks to the photo of Manatee, I now understand my problem. I was thinking Lazy Jack lines and writing Jiffy lines! Oh woe is me!

So Harry, back to my question...how are the Manatee's LAZY JACK LINES attached to the mast and booom? Lines on both sides of the sail?

Maybe later, should I ever get reefing installed on my lateen sail, I'll add a Jiffy line. But, I will need only one line like the one on Manatee...cause if I need to go to a second reef...I ain't gonna have no sail raised!
