Posted By: John Madill WWP15 Mackinac Dreamer Date: 2/8/10 10:10a.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: Lateen reefing (pic) (Harry Gordon, wwp 14 #234, Mtn. View, CA) when i asked for reef points on my lateen i assumed they would radiate from the tack (is that the correct term for the lateen?) but the sailmaker put them in a horizontal line (x's mark the spots) and i've never figured out how to reef with this set-up, primarily because of the sailrings. if anyone can solve this dilemma please let me know.
