In Response To: Opening Ports Installation (Liz)

Hi Liz, I have an older WWP19 (1988) with cut outs that wouldn't accommodate opening ports - although I've considered "glassing" over the current openings and starting over. I did just order the 4X14" Beckson port which I am going to install on the cockpit side of the quarter berths where I currently have fixed ports roughly the same size. My son and I use the quarter berths and the lack of vetilation creates some significant condensation. As long as we dog them shut while sailing, I'm not worried about risk of a flooded cockpit flowing through them. These ports would theoretically fit up in the v-berth as well except the sides are slightly curved up there and probably wouldn't accommodate it. I will let you know how I make out though! David
