Thanks. It's marine grade polyethylene. It's similar to the material that's used to make kitchen cutting boards but it's more UV resistant. I think several companies sell this material under different names. Hamilton Marine sells it as Seaboard. It comes in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and1 inch thicknesses. While it can't be glued easily it can be cut and shaped with woodworking tools. To fasten it down I used truss head machine screws and marine silicone. My Slipper came with various holes in the cabin liner and I used seaboard to solve the problem. I think window frames of quarter inch seaboard, slightly over sized and combined with Lexan glazing, would be a good improvement to my P15. I'm not sure my original windows would take much of a beating.
