Posted By: catsailor Date: 7/15/08 6:21p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: Tangier island accents (pic) (Joe Zilvinskis) The Tangier Sound is quite sheltered and would seem a great cruising ground for shoal draft sailors. I wish I had discovered it when I had a more trailerable boat. There are many islands and beaches within easy range. Don may know more about the Chrisfield area - he gave me one tip.
