I am also glad I did not take my Precision. That wind, particularly on Tuesday, would have either scared the ____ out of me or kept the boat in the marina most of the time.

I had a good time exploring around the point of the peninsula after I left you on wednesday going to to the Sand Island launch point where a great looking Main built catboat was prping to launch and where Tom and I would have probably taken the kayak to go to the sea caves. There were plenty of kayakers there waiting for lower winds to go out that morning. I went on to Cornucopia which is much smaller than Bayfield and has more older boats in the marina and a bunch being worked on by the owners on the hard. There are 3 old fishing boats lined up on the shore just moldering away. Too bad they cant protect them.

I also went through the marine muesum in Bayfield. Always enjoyable.
